Lease Management – Manage the lease process in accordance with parameters outlined by the client to ensure compliance to FASB and Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations. This ensures that our clients receive the full advantages of leasing assets.

Asset Management - Create appropriate inventory in our Inventory Management System (IMS) for the proper tracking and management of all assets. AMI has made the commitment and investment in advanced technology to support its Asset Management Services. Believing in real-time data delivery, AMI has implemented a system with proprietary programs developed to meet client service levels.

Bid Process / Pricing - Work with client finance / treasury / purchasing to document approved lessors and funding sources.

P.O. Processing - Assist client in submitting Purchase Orders to equipment suppliers or funding sources. AMI can assist in the acquisition of equipment as an agent or sublessor, or as an assignor or agent on existing leases.

Lease Schedule Processing - Prepare lease schedule (from awarded funding source master documentation) for signature.

Management of Existing Leases
  • Perform an in-depth review of existing master leases to thoroughly understand all terms and conditions
  • Manage expiring leases
    • Provide a report every 30 days with a status of all leases expiring within the next 120 days
    • Assist in preparing documents to send to funding source to make a negotiated offer for the return / buyout or extension
    • Assist in preparing documents to send to funding source or buyer to execute the return / buyout or extension
    • Document the executed return / buyout / extension in the lease data worksheet and update the AMI software
  • Work with client’s buyers and lessors to structure new leases, early terminations, mid-term upgrades, FMV buyouts and FMV extensions to ensure the best possible pricing.
  • Evaluate current leasing proposals/possibilities under consideration by client to insure best pricing, terms, etc.
  • Bill payment of lease contracts
  • Tracking of invoices
  • Facilitate payment on leased asset contracts  
  • Bi-monthly status meetings, monthly savings and lease activity reporting, and full database reports quarterly
